Insurance Defense Trial Attorney

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Trial Attorney to represent clients in insurance defense cases. This role involves managing cases from initial assessment to resolution, focusing on cases with low to moderate complexity. Responsibilities include litigation, preparing legal documents, attending hearings, and collaborating with the Claims Department on jurisdictional matters. The ideal candidate will support senior attorneys on more complex cases, contributing to a dynamic legal environment and ensuring effective client representation.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree preferred. 2. Must be licensed to practice law in applicable states. 3. Three years of insurance defense litigation or personal/bodily injury experience preferred. 4. Second chair trial experience is strongly preferred. 5. Multistate jurisdictional practice preferred. 6. Public speaking ability. 7. Strong verbal and listening communication skills. 8. Excellent written communication skills. 9. Effective negotiation skills. 10. Demonstrated conflict management skills. 11. Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision making skills. 12. Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills. 13. Strong technical aptitude. 14. Adept at using technology to maximize efficiency in a virtual environment.
