Insurance AR and Posting Specialist – Dental Billing

Job Description

As an Insurance Accounts Receivable and Posting Specialist at Sun Life, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our dental billing processes. This involves managing rejections, addressing inquiries, following up on accounts receivable, and contacting insurance companies to resolve discrepancies. You'll investigate claim denials, oversee billing activities, and identify opportunities for process improvement while collaborating with the RCM team.

Qualifications

1. Hold a high school diploma or equivalent. 2. Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, dental billing, or a related healthcare field. 3. Have experience in a dental or healthcare environment. 4. Demonstrate a strong knowledge of insurance billing and AR processes. 5. Be familiar with dental practice management systems, like Dentrix. 6. Have the ability to navigate payer portals and websites. 7. Exhibit excellent communication and negotiation skills. 8. Show strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
