Job Description

We're seeking an Instructional Designer to help develop engaging, high-quality courses within the D2L Brightspace Learning Management System. You'll contribute to international program development and help create communities of practice. Responsibilities include developing ADA-compliant materials, providing training in educational technology and instructional design best practices, and evaluating course design effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications

1. Master's degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum Design, Instructional Technology, Learning Experience Design, or a related field is essential. 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in instructional design, course development, or e-learning, preferably within higher education or corporate settings. 3. UX/UI design and usability testing training/certification is highly desirable. 4. Strong project management skills for overseeing multiple projects. 5. Thorough understanding of instructional design theories, models (ADDIE, SAM), and adult learning principles. 6. Proven experience in designing mobile-friendly online courses using e-learning authoring tools. 7. Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Brightspace, Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle).
