Job Description

Join Alma as an Immigration Attorney and manage a comprehensive range of employment-based immigration cases, including EB-1A/B, EB-2 NIW, O-1A/B, H-1B, L-1, PERM, TN, E-2, and more. You will act as the primary attorney, drafting compelling and precise petitions tailored to each client's needs. Proactively identify potential issues, communicate clearly, and drive cases to successful resolutions. Guide clients through intricate processes with strategy and attentiveness. Maintain open and direct communication, ensuring clients are well-informed every step of the way. Take full responsibility for your cases from start to finish. Enhance Alma’s legal standards by refining templates, processes, and workflows. Provide input on tooling requirements and workflow enhancements in collaboration with product and operations teams. Participate in consultations, evaluate eligibility, and confidently recommend appropriate pathways.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment-based immigration law. 2. Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from an accredited institution and license to practice law. 3. Client-focused with a belief that exceptional legal work and client service go hand-in-hand. 4. Proactive communicator who takes ownership and follows through reliably. 5. Strong legal judgment and ability to navigate ambiguity with nuance and precision. 6. Enthusiasm for AI-assisted legal workflows to improve work quality and consistency. 7. Desire to contribute to building and improving systems.
