Hydromechanical Engineer

Job Description

We're seeking a Hydromechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical systems for water infrastructure projects. You'll create 3D models using software, size and select waterworks systems, conduct engineering calculations, review drawings, and collaborate with teams to ensure code compliance. Responsibilities also include preparing reports and supporting proposal development.

Qualifications

1. Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 6+ years of experience or equivalency. 2. Have 10+ years of mechanical engineering design experience related to water, infrastructure, or industrial equipment. 3. Demonstrate experience with waterworks structures. 4. Exhibit the ability to work independently with guidance. 5. Have experience in the mechanical design of gates, hoisting mechanisms, or large-scale systems. 6. Possess experience with cranes or lifting devices. 7. Possess experience with hydraulic systems. 8. Possess experience with large pumps and pumping systems. 9. Have experience with steel fabrication and large-scale mechanical engineering projects. 10. Demonstrate proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Revit, or other 3D design tools. 11. Have proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 12. Have proficiency with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software. 13. Have experience working in hybrid environments with multidisciplinary teams.
