Job Description

Join AmeriVet Veterinary Partners as an HR Business Partner, where you'll be the main HR contact for specific markets, supporting Operations Directors and Medical Leaders. Handle a range of employee matters, from resolving conflicts to addressing performance concerns and policy questions. You'll advise leaders on managing performance, documenting actions, and ensuring company policies are followed consistently. Work with the Senior HR Director on complex issues and support broader HR goals. Assist with leave requests and accommodations, working with the HR Generalist. Keep an eye on workforce trends and HR data, suggesting ways to improve the employee experience, keep employees, and ensure stable operations. Support talent reviews, succession planning, and development for leaders. Help with organizational changes, transitions, acquisitions, and restructurings. Team up with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, HR Operations, Compliance, Legal, and field leadership for HR tasks. Provide guidance to the HR Generalist and conduct practice visits to maintain strong relationships. Support various projects as needed.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. 2. At least five years of progressive human resources experience required, including employee relations and leader support experience. 3. Experience supporting a large, multi-site workforce required. 4. Strong background in employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and leader coaching. 5. Experience handling routine to complex employee matters with sound judgment and discretion. 6. Strong partnership, communication, and relationship-building skills. 7. Ability to assess issues, identify risk, and provide practical, business-aligned recommendations. 8. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 9. Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred; Workday experience is a plus. 10. HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
