Health Data Consultant
Job Description
Contribute to the analysis of client accounts and internal initiatives related to account performance, growth strategies, retention tactics, and emerging trends. Offer insights on cross-functional teams to integrate evaluations of customer environments, performance metrics, challenges, and potential solutions to bolster growth and retention. Analyze and interpret data from technical domains like medical informatics, service delivery, and finance to inform cost-effective and process-oriented decisions that enhance satisfaction and retention. Apply problem-solving techniques and frameworks to tackle client business challenges, providing custom evaluations by identifying, interpreting, and communicating overall account performance against benchmarks, including data from Intellimedix and Care Management Sources. Design custom analyses using tools such as Excel, Tableau, SAS, R, or ZS' proprietary software. Support internal stakeholders with enhanced analytics and decision support and aid external stakeholders in the development and implementation of analytic solutions. Deliver presentations that demonstrate the value of products, integrating qualitative and quantitative information to create insights into client issues, ensuring that messaging and market position are communicated effectively.
Qualifications
1. Requires 4+ years of related work experience in a Healthcare/Health insurance setting. 2. Must have experience with analytics and inferential statistics. 3. Must have experience writing SQL or SAS code or related code. 4. Must have Intermediate Excel skills. 5. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products. 6. Must have the ability to manage tasks independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and meet deadlines. 7. Requires experience working with cross-functional teams and communicating complex information to non-technical stakeholders. 8. Must have the ability to design and deliver presentations that demonstrate the value of products and solutions. 9. Must have a related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience. 10. Must have experience validating, manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting information from technical areas (e.g. medical informatics, service delivery, and finance) to make effective cost and process decisions. 11. Requires experience communicating and working with cross-functional teams within and outside an organization. 12. Requires experience with web-based reporting tools, analytic software packages, and programming languages.
