Growth Lead – Retention, UGC
Job Description
Become the growth champion for Shopify brands, guiding them from initial setup to their first successful UGC campaign. Collaborate closely with founders and e-commerce teams to pinpoint opportunities for growth in retention, customer reviews, and user-generated content. Develop and implement post-purchase strategies that encourage UGC/CGC, boost customer reviews, and drive repeat purchases. Construct and refine retention pathways by leveraging rewards, Wallet passes, and other engagement incentives. Enhance both the volume and quality of customer-created content, including photos, videos, and reviews. Evaluate campaign results across different brands and translate those insights into scalable growth strategies. Discover avenues to elevate conversion rates, improve customer retention, and maximize lifetime value through the strategic use of customer content. Share valuable merchant insights with the product team to shape future features that address real-world e-commerce needs.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience working with Shopify brands or in the D2C e-commerce space. 2. In-depth knowledge of UGC, customer reviews, and content-driven growth strategies. 3. Demonstrated success in improving customer retention and fostering repeat purchases within e-commerce. 4. Hands-on experience in building high-converting post-purchase or lifecycle flows. 5. Ability to work directly with founders and e-commerce operators. 6. Thorough understanding of key e-commerce metrics such as conversion rate, retention rate, and customer lifetime value (LTV). 7. Familiarity with rewards, loyalty programs, or incentivized engagement strategies is advantageous. 8. Excellent communication skills with a focus on practical solutions and proactive action. 9. Thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage environment that requires strong ownership.
