Job Description
Seeking a Grant Writer Intern to help secure funding for SMBs in Canada. This role involves: - Researching and tracking grant opportunities. - Drafting compelling grant proposals and letters of intent. - Aligning program outcomes with funder priorities. - Supporting budget development and impact reporting. - Conducting research on economic development and SMB trends. - Gathering data and success stories for proposals. - Maintaining organized records of applications.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has: 1. A 3rd or 4th-year student in Communications, Business, Public Policy, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field. 2. Strong research, writing, and editing skills. 3. Excellent attention to detail and deadline management. 4. Ability to synthesize complex information clearly. 5. Interest in non-profit work, entrepreneurship, and community development. Bonus points for: - Research or policy analysis experience. - Familiarity with impact metrics or reporting. - Previous non-profit, internship, or volunteer experience.
