Job Description

Join GE Aerospace as a Global Transportation Operations Specialist and play a crucial role in ensuring seamless logistics across the global supply chain. Execute Clear to Build and Clear to Launch processes, ensuring timely delivery of parts to meet weekly engine output goals. Address emerging international and domestic delivery challenges, create custom logistics solutions, and oversee customs requirements for international shipments. Lead cross-functional projects, develop key relationships, and leverage supplier metrics to drive process improvements. Support financial improvements, utilize digital tools, and contribute to GE Aerospace's transportation quality program. Collaborate on cost savings projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold EHS standards.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of logistics experience). 2. A minimum of 3 years of logistics experience. 3. Strong, hands-on logistics operational experience, including both international and U.S. domestic transportation. 4. Deep understanding of global customs requirements, including documentation, classification, and clearance processes for international shipments. 5. Expertise in root cause analysis and corrective & preventive action (RCCA / CAPA). 6. Advanced MS Excel skills. 7. Strong customer-centric service approach. 8. Proven ability to maintain schedules and meet deliverables in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment. 9. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently. 10. Operational background in supply chain or transportation is an advantage.
