Global Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description

Avantor is seeking a Global Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and regulatory compliance. This role involves implementing new testing methodologies, refining defect tracking systems, and optimizing documentation workflows. The engineer may manage smaller quality assurance projects, coordinate supplier audits, and support the introduction of new testing procedures. Collaboration with production teams and suppliers is essential to address product non-conformances and resolve material quality concerns. The role also includes conducting thorough evaluations and audits of suppliers.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, biology, natural science, or a related field. 2. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in quality management. 3. Proven experience in supplier quality management and auditing in the consumer, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry. 4. Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and regulatory requirements. 5. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP). 6. Excellent prioritization, organization, and project and task management skills. 7. Strong interpersonal skills for effective teaming and collaboration across the global supplier quality team. 8. Functional knowledge of Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams. 9. Ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently. 10. Self-motivated to develop and maintain the global supplier quality program and drive improvements.
