Global Software Product Manager

Job Description

Join Hygiena as a Global Software Product Manager and play a key role in shaping our software product roadmap. You'll translate market strategies into actionable tasks, maintain the product backlog, and ensure alignment with company goals. Engage with customers to understand their needs and translate them into detailed product requirements. Monitor the competitive landscape and contribute to product performance reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX, and commercial teams, to deliver innovative solutions. Drive product adoption, track key metrics, and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and data security standards. Actively support Hygiena's safety program and promote a culture of integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Information Technology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field or equivalent experience. 2. MBA preferred. 3. 3-5 years of relevant experience including: 4. 2 years of product management or adjacent commercial experience (sales, marketing, project management, technical marketing) in a B2B technology or life sciences environment. 5. Experience with SaaS software products, cloud platforms, or enterprise software applications; food safety, environmental monitoring, LIMS, QMS, or laboratory informatics experience strongly preferred. 6. Experience with agile/scrum development workflows, including user story writing, sprint planning, and backlog management. 7. Ability to conduct customer research and translate findings into product requirements or use cases. 8. Experience collaborating with software engineering and UX/design teams. 9. Experience in a global, matrixed organization with cross-functional teamwork preferred. 10. Familiarity with food safety regulatory frameworks (FSMA, HACCP, ISO 22000) and data compliance standards (21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, SOC 2) preferred. 11. Experience with LIMS, ERP, or QMS software integrations and API-based connectivity concepts preferred.
