General Manager – West Region
Job Description
Assume full ownership of the regional Profit and Loss (P&L) and drive top-line growth within your designated region. Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics for each property in your region. Manage the owner-partner relationship end-to-end, encompassing monthly business reviews, performance reporting, escalations, and contract renewals. Collaborate with the VP of Operations to develop and execute the operations strategy roadmap for your region. Build, implement, refine, and oversee the day-to-day processes that underpin a successful parking management operation across AirGarage's national footprint. Develop and execute dynamic pricing, marketing, and business development strategies to boost revenue at portfolio locations. Oversee enforcement operations throughout your region, including scan coverage, rescan ratios, citation performance, and the enforcement P&L. Spearhead operator transitions and new property onboarding initiatives. Collaborate with our Legal team to ensure compliance with local city and state regulations. Implement data-driven solutions to address daily operational challenges. Collaborate closely with the leadership team, providing critical input to shape the future of the Operations team at AirGarage.
Qualifications
1. Must reside in the Western half of the United States (Pacific Time Zone, Mountain Time Zone, or in Texas). 2. Possess 7+ years of relevant professional experience, including 3+ years at a high-growth startup. 3. Backgrounds in real-world operations, management consulting, investment banking, or commercial real estate are preferred. 4. Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a top U.S. program preferred. 5. Proven track record of leading highly complex projects, working cross-functionally, and delivering results on time. 6. A self-starter who is energized by tackling difficult problems. 7. Exceptional analytical skills (including SQL proficiency) and the ability to quickly learn new tech platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Snowflake, Sigma). 8. Excellent written and verbal communication and strong business judgment. 9. An entrepreneurial mindset. Willing to get your hands dirty and operate effectively in ambiguity. You don't need a playbook. Ability to dive into difficult problems and devise a plan.
