Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to support VA portfolio clients by delivering innovative technology solutions. In this role, you will: • Provide guidance and implement best practices for successful application upgrades and modernizations using Angular and .NET Core. • Design, develop, and test new features in VA-provided applications, maintaining regular communication with colleagues involved in all development processes. • Analyze, implement, test, and troubleshoot bug fixes efficiently. • Determine user needs; analyze system capabilities to resolve problems related to program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Prepare operating instructions and design and develop autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs. • Ensure all software standards are rigorously met. • Apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to deliver high-quality solutions. • Receive assignments in the form of objectives and establish goals to meet outlined objectives effectively. • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, requiring analysis of situations or data with a review of multiple factors. • Ensure work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy, and accuracy. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. • Contribute to the successful completion of milestones associated with specific projects.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree 2. Eight (8) years of professional experience, including Five (5) years or more as a developer 3. Minimum two (2) years of experience with Angular (experience with Angular 18+ preferred) 4. Proficiency in: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES5+), TypeScript (4.x), Bootstrap (5.x), jQuery (3.6+) 5. Strong experience with C# and .NET 6. Experience with MS SQL Server, including writing stored procedures, managing databases, and creating tables and writing queries 7. Experience with: Visual Studio (2019–2022), Git (version control), APIs, Windows environments, Microsoft Azure, IIS (Internet Information Services), and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) 8. Strong work ethic with the ability to manage workload and meet tight deadlines 9. Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills 10. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment 11. Ability to obtain a VA Public Trust
