Frontend Engineer II – Music

Job Description

Shape the Spotify Rights Center web application, used by music labels and publishers to manage their content on Spotify. Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences. Develop workflows that support large datasets and multi-step processes. Integrate frontend systems with backend services for scalable data flows. Write performant and well-tested frontend code using modern practices. Collaborate with backend engineers to design APIs. Contribute to product discovery and improve engineering practices. Support a collaborative team environment that encourages learning and growth.

Qualifications

1. Experience building modern web applications using TypeScript and React or a similar framework. 2. Comfortable managing complex application state and data flows. 3. Experience integrating frontend systems with APIs such as REST, gRPC, or GraphQL. 4. Understand how to design responsive interfaces that handle loading states, pagination, streaming data, and error handling gracefully. 5. Care deeply about creating intuitive and accessible user experiences. 6. Experience building enterprise or B2B applications with complex workflows, permissions, and large datasets. 7. Write high-quality code and validate it using modern testing approaches such as unit, integration, or end-to-end testing. 8. Take ownership of solutions from requirements through deployment and iteration based on user feedback. 9. Enjoy learning new domains and problem spaces and collaborating with teammates to solve meaningful problems.
