Job Description

Join Velera as a Fraud Detection Representative and play a crucial role in safeguarding credit union members from fraudulent activities. This position involves handling incoming and outgoing calls to address case inquiries effectively. Responsibilities include monitoring credit and debit accounts to identify and mitigate fraudulent activity, utilizing multiple systems to minimize losses for both cardholders and credit unions. A strong focus on delivering high-level service and meeting performance targets is essential. The role also requires communicating trends and training opportunities to management, maintaining composure in challenging situations, and fostering positive relationships with team members. Promote Velera's Call Centers with a professional image and enhance product knowledge through continuous training.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Some post-high school education desirable. 3. Minimum of one year experience in fraud detection and/or fraud investigation preferred. 4. Minimum six months experience in a customer service or call center experience preferred.
