Job Description

Take the lead in the monthly close, budgeting, and forecasting processes, constructing dynamic models for scenario planning and growth strategy, encompassing both on-chain and FIAT transactions. Craft accurate financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAPSME standards, expertly manage tax filings, and skillfully coordinate audits. Optimize cash flow and meticulously oversee crypto-FIAT treasury operations, nurturing strong banking relationships. Develop investor-ready financial presentations, unit economics analyses, and comprehensive due diligence packages tailored for funding rounds or strategic alliances. Efficiently manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll functions, diverse revenue streams, vendor contracts, and expense policies, while streamlining workflows through automation. Enhance the utilization of financial systems, including QuickBooks and our innovative internal crypto-accounting solution. Deliver insightful financial perspectives on pricing strategies, service profitability, ROI assessments for new initiatives, and risk mitigation strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product development, and sales teams to gain a deep understanding of business drivers and effectively translate them into actionable financial plans.

Qualifications

1. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent); Big 4 experience preferred. 2. 7+ years in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role; blockchain experience will be considered an asset. 3. Strong understanding of blockchain mechanics: wallets, private keys, multi-sigs, cross-chain bridges. 4. Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar ERP; advanced Excel skills, experience with AI and automation tools is a plus. 5. Proactive problem-solver who can build processes from scratch, communicate clearly with non-finance teams, and thrive in ambiguity. 6. Understanding of crypto regulations (e.g., MiCA, FATF guidelines) and multi-jurisdiction compliance is highly valued.
