Field Service Technician

Job Description

Perform tasks to install, service, and train on general-purpose equipment for diverse industrial applications. Follow all safety regulations and protocols. Document service activities and expenses accurately. Identify and solve complex problems, using blueprints and schematics. Provide technical support to other technicians. Manage service calls effectively. Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems. Adjust and test equipment for proper operation. Coordinate pre-installation meetings and site inspections. Report potential safety issues and suggest solutions. Maintain strong customer relationships through clear explanations. Communicate essential information to stakeholders promptly. Utilize PLC knowledge for troubleshooting. Identify upgrade opportunities and assist with proposals. Design and conduct training programs. Prepare detailed reports and service bulletins. Assist with inventory sourcing.

Qualifications

1. High School Degree or GED required 2. 1-3 years of experience with electrical or mechanical background 3. Basic knowledge of Microsoft systems and general computer skills
