Job Description

Seeking a Field Service Engineer to configure and support ZTR control systems with advanced PLC knowledge. Responsibilities include on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and providing technical training to customers. You'll collaborate with the sales team and participate in project coordination, involving domestic and international travel (15-30%). Drive environmental impact through innovative rail solutions.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 3-year diploma in Electronic Engineering Technology, Professional Engineer certification, or valid electrician license. 2. Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical control systems and locomotive electrical systems. 3. Advanced PLC programming and configuration expertise. 4. Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus). 5. Basic to intermediate understanding of Ethernet networking (LANs, WANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi). 6. Proficiency in standard computer applications (Microsoft Office). 7. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently. 8. Strong judgment and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations. 9. Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities. 10. Hands-on technical experience required. 11. Preference for candidates with locomotive or freight railway experience.
