Field Engineer

Job Description

As a Field Engineer, you will: * Maintain proactive daily communication with customers to ensure resolution and appropriate follow up for customer satisfaction. * Complete health and safety documentation before each installation/repair. * Ensure the “Job Sheet” is completed fully and signed by an authorized person before leaving the installation/repair. * Perform the allocated work on time, accurately, and with high-quality workmanship. * Troubleshoot customer queries on perceived faulty equipment, suggest resolutions, and designate equipment. * Maintain the accuracy of assigned inventory to ensure accountability and integrity of stock, ensuring all company equipment is kept secure. * Encourage a ‘tidy van, tidy mind’ attitude.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Field Engineer, you should have: 1. Good attention to detail, good judgment, and logical decision-making abilities. 2. A hands-on approach, willing to resolve any problems or issues that arise within the department. 3. A clean UK Driving License. 4. Be a confident, self-starting team player, able to operate in a dynamic environment. 5. Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 6. Initiative and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach and positive attitude. 7. A strong desire to continuously improve systems and processes. 8. Good planning and organizational skills. 9. Willingness to stay away overnight. 10. Excellent communication and listening skills. 11. A polite, confident, and friendly manner. 12. Flexibility and quick thinking. 13. To be well-organized and diligent, even under pressure.
