Executive Oncology Sales Specialist, Lung

Job Description

Execute sales strategies by promoting current and potential new oncology therapeutics. Apply your knowledge of product clinical efficacy to articulate value to customers, offering clinical support and achieving sales objectives. Perform business analysis and actively prospect for new business within assigned accounts, developing account strategies with your District Manager. Devise customer-specific pre- and post-call plans with clear objectives, leveraging approved marketing materials and strong closing skills to advance sales. Maximize account penetration to boost sales within the territory. Effectively utilize all marketing resources and discuss reimbursement options to enhance sales opportunities. Negotiate sales and finalize orders to hit targets.

Qualifications

1. A bachelor's degree is required. 2. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends. 3. A minimum of 2 years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales experience, or recent transition from Active-Duty Military Experience in hospital and large account sales, including handling reimbursement issues is required. 4. Must be willing to satisfy reasonable credentialing requirements, including TB tests, Hepatitis B vaccine, MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), and Varicella (chicken pox). 5. Must reside in the designated geography or be willing to relocate. 6. Specialty sales experience and an understanding of the Solid Lung and Oncology market is preferred.
