European Payroll Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a European Payroll Specialist to oversee and supervise the organization's external payroll provider. This role involves managing payroll processes and reporting within the region, ensuring timely and accurate pay in compliance with government regulations across 8 countries. You will provide support and advice to the HR Generalist team on payroll matters, acting as the main point of contact for payroll inquiries. Key responsibilities include managing regulatory and compliance filings, developing payroll strategies, workflows, and policies, resolving tax issues, coordinating regulatory reporting, and supporting internal/external audits.
Qualifications
1. Mid-level experience in running multiple international payrolls 2. Mid-level experience managing an external provider 3. Mid-level experience providing payroll, tax, and pay guidance in European territories 4. Experience processing payroll on Papaya/ADP platforms (a plus) 5. Effective communication and rapport-building skills with employees and team members
