Join Tremendous as an Engineering Manager and lead one of our dynamic engineering teams, including Banking, Catalog, and Prepaid Cards. We'll align you with a team where your expertise can drive maximum impact. Foster the professional growth of your engineers through personalized 1:1 mentoring, insightful feedback, and coaching. Ensure top-notch technical quality via comprehensive code reviews, strategic architecture decisions, and the establishment of team-wide standards. Report directly to our Director of Engineering, Chloe, to help shape the future of our engineering practices.

Qualifications

1. Requires 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership role as a manager or tech lead. 2. Possess excellent technical judgment with a proven track record of sound technical approaches. 3. Demonstrate strong communication skills, with the ability to create technical briefs and explain complex concepts to stakeholders. 4. Have a solid product intuition to guide product initiatives for your team. 5. Champion AI adoption within your work and support your team in integrating AI effectively. 6. Attract talent by creating a positive and collaborative work environment. 7. Exhibit high empathy and care for your teammates and users. 8. Familiarity with our stack: Ruby on Rails, Typescript + React, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud is a plus.
