Engineering Manager

Job Description

Join Crystal Intelligence as an Engineering Manager and lead our Platform Squads. You will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative team culture, and refining team processes. Your expertise will be crucial in overseeing task management in JIRA, collaborating with stakeholders to define roadmaps, and driving the technical vision. You will ensure the delivery of robust, high-performance data pipelines, advocate for best practices in software development, partner with product managers, and implement processes for high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

1. Possess 10+ years of experience in software engineering. 2. Have at least 5 years as a backend engineer. 3. Demonstrate 3+ years in a senior leadership role. 4. Experience managing approximately 15 engineers. 5. Exhibit a strong technical background in system architecture, data engineering, and infrastructure management. 6. Proven ability to manage tasks using JIRA. 7. Have a deep understanding and application of agile methodologies. 8. Ability to monitor and improve team performance using key metrics. 9. Familiarity with scalable architecture patterns, microservices, and distributed systems. 10. Hands-on experience with data pipeline technologies, APIs, and DevOps tools. 11. Have a solid understanding of CI/CD processes.
