Electrical Engineer – Renewable, Low-Carbon Technologies

Join us as an Electrical Engineer and play a key role in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of renewable energy systems across the UK. We focus on solar PV systems, EV charging infrastructure, LED lighting upgrades, underfloor heating systems, and associated controls. This role involves conducting site surveys and technical assessments, ensuring compliance with BS7671 and industry standards, diagnosing and repairing faults, collaborating with project teams and clients, and supporting heat decarbonization strategies. Accurate certification, reporting, and documentation are essential components of this position. Qualifications

1. Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent certification. 2. Certification in Inspection and Testing. 3. C&G 2391 certification. 4. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) certification. 5. Proven experience with renewable technologies, specifically Solar PV, EV, and LED, as well as heating systems like underfloor heating. 6. Strong understanding of energy efficiency and carbon reduction practices. 7. Willingness to travel across the UK for site visits and project support. 8. Valid UK driving license. 9. ECS/CSCS card is preferred.
