Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Join AECOM as an Electrical Engineer and contribute to the design and documentation of building services electrical systems. This includes lighting and controls, power distribution, earthing, and essential services. Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and specifications. Support multi-disciplinary design solutions and participate in client meetings. Conduct site inspections and support construction-phase services. Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and working towards relevant registrations. 2. 2+ years of experience in building services electrical design within a consulting environment. 3. Sound understanding of Australian Standards, the NCC, and local authority requirements for electrical building services. 4. Experience with design tools like Revit (MEP), PowerCAD, ETAP, AGi32, and Microsoft Office Suite. 5. Knowledge of utility connection processes and authority approvals. 6. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in project teams. 7. Australian Citizenship required with current (or previously held) defence clearance highly regarded.
