Document Controller – Data Center
Job Description
Join our team as a Document Controller and play a vital role in managing project documentation for data center construction and commissioning. Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining the project document control system within approved platforms like Procore and SharePoint. You'll receive, log, and track project documents, ensuring revision control and accuracy. Support the commissioning team in organizing L1-L5 documentation and coordinate the assembly of turnover packages. Maintain accurate logs of submittals and generate status reports for project leadership. Participate in project meetings and maintain a secure document archive. Assist with project close-out, ensuring all final records are transferred to the owner.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of 3 years of document control experience, preferably on data center or large commercial construction projects. 2. Experience supporting commissioning and QA/QC documentation workflows across L1–L5 phases. 3. Familiarity with hyperscale owner documentation standards and turnover requirements. 4. Working knowledge of construction terminology and drawing sets. 5. Proficient with document and project management platforms such as Procore and SharePoint. 6. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook. 7. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability. 8. Ability to manage high volumes of documentation under tight deadlines. 9. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 10. Discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
