Distribution Analyst II

Job Description

We are seeking a Distribution Analyst II to support the distributions team's daily operations, adhering to FSG internal regulations and SEC/IRS guidelines. You will mentor entry-level Distribution Analysts and conduct quality assurance on work completed by Level I team members and the offshore team. Approving and ensuring the quality of Level I analysts' transactions will be a key responsibility. Providing training to Level I analysts, and acting as a second-in-command to the Distributions Team Lead when needed. The role requires accurately processing various distribution types, including loans and excess contribution transactions. You'll perform quality reviews to verify accuracy, review and prepare manual investment transactions, and evaluate/process retirement account requests. Taking ownership of account issues involves researching history and interacting with vendors/partners. Prompt follow-up is crucial. Monitoring department email boxes, workflow queues, and Salesforce cases is essential. You will also enhance client experience by suggesting process improvements, maintaining knowledge of IRS rules, and completing assigned duties and projects.

Qualifications

1. Requires 2+ years of retirement industry experience. 2. A financial degree is preferred, or equivalent experience/education. 3. Experience with Relius and Salesforce is preferred. 4. Must be a self-starter and highly self-motivated. 5. Must have strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. 6. Must be efficient and effective. 7. Must be a team player. 8. Must be able to prioritize and execute tasks under pressure. 9. Must be able to run reports out of Salesforce and Relius and analyze data. 10. Must be able to meet deadlines. 11. Must maintain confidentiality. 12. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. 13. Must communicate effectively. 14. Must interact professionally with customers. 15. Must demonstrate analytical skills, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills. 16. Must be flexible to work overtime and varied shifts.
