Director, Relationship Management

Job Description

Shape the strategic direction, stimulate expansion, and foster superior performance within a dynamic team of Veterinary Relationship Managers (VRMs). Provide leadership in consultative selling by educating, customizing, and guiding customer interactions. Lead with defined objectives and clear expectations, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing conversion trends, and delivering precise forecasts. Oversee comprehensive relationship management throughout the entire customer lifecycle, encompassing onboarding, training, optimization, cross-selling, and renewals. Assume responsibility for all talent-related decisions, including identifying and recruiting top-tier talent, facilitating rapid onboarding, and cultivating future leaders. Partner with Product, Marketing, Enablement, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment of field strategies with overarching go-to-market (GTM) priorities.

Qualifications

1. Possess 10+ years of experience in leadership roles within sales, business development, or account management. 2. Hold a minimum of 5 years of experience managing virtual or inside sales teams, ideally within veterinary, healthcare, or SaaS sectors. 3. Demonstrate a strong history of spearheading cross-functional initiatives and achieving operational targets in complex organizational structures. 4. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, or a related field (or demonstrate equivalent practical experience). 5. Be based in or willing to move to the designated Sales Region. 6. Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to provide team support, engage with customers, and attend sales meetings.
