Director, Provider Operations

Job Description

Become the strategic and operational leader of the provider organization at 9amHealth. Own the complete provider lifecycle, managing hiring and onboarding, engagement, performance, and retention strategies. Create systems, strategies, and experiences that enable providers to deliver exceptional care at scale. Monitor provider performance metrics in collaboration with Clinical Operations and Quality leads. Define and implement the provider workforce strategy aligned to business growth and demand. Take responsibility for provider supply planning, including capacity forecasting and licensing approach. Design compensation and incentive models aligned with outcomes.

Qualifications

1. 10+ years of experience in healthcare operations, provider operations, or workforce management. 2. 5+ years of leadership experience managing provider teams and/or large-scale clinical operations. 3. Proven track record of building and scaling provider or workforce operations in high-growth environments. 4. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with experience managing capacity, utilization, and cost. 5. Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and Recruiting teams. 6. Preferred experience in telehealth, digital health, or value-based care models. 7. Preferred deep experience working closely with clinicians. 8. Preferred experience managing both W2 and 1099 workforce models.
