Director of Supply Chain

Job Description

Take the helm as the Director of Supply Chain, providing leadership and guidance for all procurement activities, from initial planning to final execution. This role requires close collaboration with business, technical, and functional teams to ensure company needs and requirements are met effectively. You'll be responsible for developing and negotiating strategic agreements that leverage our purchasing power, securing discounts, and driving long-term sourcing strategies. Lead and mentor a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Oversee a secure supply chain, managing risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Serve as the primary contact for internal stakeholders and executive leadership, providing expert guidance on procurement matters. Develop scalable processes and best practices to optimize efficiency and support organizational growth.

Qualifications

1. Must possess an active Secret or Top Secret security clearance. 2. Minimum of 14 years of relevant work experience (advanced degree +11 years). 3. Relevant certifications such as CPCM or CFCM are preferred. 4. Extensive experience in supply chain, Federal procurement, purchasing, or contracting, including at least 6 years in a management or leadership capacity. 5. Demonstrated expertise in applying FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific regulations. 6. Proven track record of leading complex supply chain organizations and successful negotiations within a defense contracting setting. 7. Strong analytical, business judgment, and problem-solving capabilities. 8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with all organizational levels and external partners. 9. Experience leading process improvement initiatives and implementing procurement best practices.
