Job Description

As the Director of Retail Engineering, you will: Own the Retail Technical Strategy: Lead the development of a unified, extensible retail core for Grocery and C-Store applications. Architect for Resilience: Ensure zero downtime with a robust, offline-first architecture. Deploy Autonomous Systems: Transition to AI-driven inventory management and supply chain solutions. Raise Talent Density: Attract top-tier engineering talent and coach managers to be high-autonomy leaders. Own the Outcome: Partner with Product and UX to drive the Retail technical stack's P&L. Eliminate Tech Debt as Strategy: Proactively dismantle special-case code to ensure a lean, fast, and configurable retail platform. Champion AI: Utilize AI tools to accelerate development and improve team velocity.
