Job Description
Join Bluecrest Residential as a Director of Portfolio Management and play a pivotal role in overseeing our multifamily investment portfolio. Guide the fund's strategy by aligning portfolio execution with investment goals and ensuring optimal diversification. Serve as a fiduciary for pension plan Limited Partners (LPs), making informed investment decisions and capital allocations. Lead quantitative assessments for dispositions and recapitalizations, balancing gains with long-term cash flow needs. Direct the quarterly valuation process, coordinating with appraisers and internal teams for accurate marks. Mitigate portfolio-level risks, including interest rate exposure and regulatory changes. Oversee the funding of capital expenditure programs, ensuring a return on investment. Deliver quarterly institutional reporting packages using ILPA and GIPS standards. Serve as a key contact for Pension Plan Investment Officers and Consultants, presenting performance and market outlooks. Ensure fund adherence to LP side letters. Evaluate and optimize portfolio management technology. Partner with acquisitions and asset management teams. Mentor portfolio analysts, fostering a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate Economics, Accounting, Business or related field required. MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred. 2. Experience: Seven to Fifteen of experience in Real Estate Private Equity, with at least 5 years specifically focused on Multifamily assets. Experience in a portfolio management role is a must and it is a double-bonus if you have experience in asset management as well. 3. Institutional Pedigree: You have Significant experience managing capital for Public or Corporate Pension Plans (e.g., CalPERS, NYSTRS, GIC) is highly preferred. 4. Technical Mastery: Fluency in fair value, ILPA and GIPS performance standards. 5. Soft Skills: Exceptional ability to translate property-level operational data into high-level strategic insights for a Board of Trustees.
