Director of Partnerships
Job Description
Assume leadership of a team of Partner Account Managers, guiding their professional growth and ensuring they achieve performance targets, enhance partner relationships, and maintain high service standards. Serve as the main contact for key partners, managing daily interactions, strategic initiatives, and success metrics. Take responsibility for forecasting revenue and assessing the financial health of existing partner accounts, monitoring performance, identifying trends, and addressing potential risks. Discover and implement growth opportunities within current partner relationships, including upselling, cross-selling, expanding volume, and introducing new applications that offer mutual benefits. Spearhead renewal and renegotiation processes with partners, aligning terms with present and future business objectives. Keep the CRM system accurate and up-to-date with partner activities, engagement levels, and overall health. Ensure Partner Account Managers consistently log insights, pipeline updates, and account plans. Work with partners to uncover product gaps and opportunities. Transform insights into actionable requirements and collaborate with Product, R&D, and Operations teams to influence product development. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure consistent and aligned execution across all functions.
Qualifications
1. Requires 7+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or SaaS sales, ideally with ISVs, fintechs, or vertical SaaS companies. 2. Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing strategic partner relationships. 3. Proven success in expanding relationships and driving growth within established customer or partner networks. 4. Possesses excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities. 5. Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and influence stakeholders across different departments. 6. Knowledge of ISV and channel-driven business models is advantageous.
