Director of Business Development
Job Description
The Director of Business Development will focus on managing business development efforts within a designated territory, spanning 2-5 states. Responsibilities include scheduling and conducting webinars and in-person meetings with potential clients to secure signed contracts. This role requires traveling to the region approximately 5 days each month. You will also need to contact and establish strong relationships with hospital and practice administrators to understand their needs and hiring goals. Organization within the territory is essential, along with providing timely information and follow-up communication. The successful candidate will effectively present information and answer questions accurately through various channels, including webinars and phone calls.
Qualifications
1. Must have healthcare business development experience. 2. A minimum of 3 years of sales experience is preferred, including inside sales, outside sales, B2B sales, and cold calling. 3. Ability to quickly build rapport. 4. Must have an outgoing personality. 5. Capability to pursue and generate leads. 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 7. College degree preferred. 8. Must have a valid driving license.
