Director of Account Management
Job Description
Lead and cultivate the Account Management team, defining vision, objectives, and a culture of high performance. Achieve retention and growth targets across employer segments. Develop and enhance scalable processes, tools, and systems to effectively serve a growing and complex business portfolio. Serve as a key client-facing leader with brokers and HR decision-makers, championing robust relationship management. Collaborate cross-functionally to drive automation and self-service capabilities that improve efficiency and client experience. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to senior management. Support new market entry and account transitions as the company expands.
Qualifications
1. 8+ years in Account Management, Customer Success, or similar within insurance/healthcare, with 4+ years in leadership. 2. In-depth knowledge of employer group health insurance. 3. Proven track record of managing employer relationships and broker partnerships. 4. Systems-level thinker who can identify process gaps and create scalable solutions. 5. Enthusiasm for client-facing roles, energized by broker and employer relationships. 6. Exceptional ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a dynamic environment. 7. Strong analytical skills to translate data into strategic decisions. 8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 9. East Coast location preferred; willingness to travel monthly. 10. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
