Director, Human Resources

Job Description

The Director of Human Resources will manage employee relations by addressing complex issues through thorough investigations, ensuring legal compliance, and partnering with the legal department. Provide performance management guidance, improve work relationships, and boost morale and retention. Enhance management training programs to improve engagement, learning, and retention. Ensure training materials are current and effective. Identify training needs based on operational changes and industry developments. Conduct and facilitate training sessions. Review compensation and benefits programs to motivate and reward performance. Advise on strategies to attract and retain talent. Continuously improve HR practices to meet organizational needs. Strengthen employee engagement company-wide by enhancing the onboarding experience and creating career growth plans. Actively support managers in engaging remote employees. Oversee the HR team's productivity and work quality, manage staff PTO and overtime, and report on staffing objectives. Improve interviewing and hiring methods based on turnover trends. Handle other duties and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

1. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. 2. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred. 3. Experienced leader and human resources executive with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image. 4. Ability to analyze and interpret complex human resource related documents. 5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints from people at all levels. 6. Well organized, self-directed and decisive. 7. Any lifting, bending, traveling, etc. required to do the job duties listed above. Long periods of sitting and computer work. 8. Supply and support their own internet services. 9. Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is a requirement of all work from home position.
