Director, Global Sales – Aftermarket Enablement
Job Description
Seeking a Director to lead global sales and aftermarket enablement. This role involves establishing and implementing a maturity strategy that aligns functional objectives with enterprise value stream performance goals. Key responsibilities include standardizing sales enablement frameworks, driving productivity by enabling sales teams to focus on value-creating customer activities, and governing standardized enablement processes and systems globally. Additionally, the director will design and deploy sales effectiveness KPIs, shape sales management cadence, and integrate customer insights into enablement strategies to improve outcomes. Leverage industry benchmarks and best practices to continuously enhance sales and aftermarket enablement capabilities.
Qualifications
1. College, university, or equivalent degree required. 2. Significant relevant experience, including people leadership as well as budgetary and resource management responsibility. 3. Strong experience leading strategic initiatives, enterprise-wide transformation, and structured change efforts. 4. Proven ability to work effectively across multiple functional areas within complex, global, matrixed organizations. 5. Demonstrated command of functional quality, with the ability to train, mentor, and develop others in best practices and standards. 6. Broad understanding of key functional processes, operating models, and enablement practices. 7. Demonstrated experience sponsoring and governing large, complex projects and enterprise initiatives. 8. Significant experience leading end-to-end process redesign and continuous improvement efforts. 9. Highly resourceful at the senior level—proactively navigating ambiguity, optimizing people and financial resources, and solving complex business challenges by leveraging data, networks, and creative problem-solving to drive results. 10. Experience in segments such as PowerGen, Industrial, Mining or On highway. 11. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
