Job Description

Spearhead the global content marketing strategy to enhance brand recognition, foster new client acquisition, promote customer growth, facilitate product introductions, boost customer loyalty, and establish thought leadership. Convert overarching business goals into practical content strategies that span the entirety of the customer journey. Oversee content planning and prioritization across diverse channels, audiences, and geographic regions. Assure that all content is consistent with brand guidelines, positioning, and strategic marketing narratives for products. Champion the integration of AI in content development to revolutionize workflows and optimize team roles in the AI era, striking a balance between AI capabilities and human proficiency. Manage and mentor a geographically diverse team of content creators. Establish defined roles, processes, and performance metrics to uphold operational excellence. Encourage a culture that values creativity, cooperation, and ongoing enhancement. Direct the creation of impactful content, including thought leadership articles, whitepapers, case studies, website content, email marketing, video scripts, social media content, and more. Review and refine content to ensure clarity, precision, coherence, and alignment with brand identity. Collaborate with brand and creative teams to produce engaging multimedia content. Work in close collaboration with marketing and go-to-market teams to align on priorities and convert them into effective content strategies. Ensure content supports key commercial endeavors such as marketing campaigns, product launches, account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives, sales enablement, and expansion of the customer base. Cultivate robust internal relationships to gather insights, customer success stories, and subject matter expertise. Effectively disseminate content resources and demonstrate their value across marketing and go-to-market teams, ensuring consistency with broader internal communications. Define content KPIs to reflect desired business outcomes. Monitor content performance using analytics, providing regular insights and recommendations. Promote a culture of experimentation and data-driven optimization across various content formats and channels.

Qualifications

1. Demonstrated ability to align content strategy with business results, revenue targets, and customer needs. 2. Experience with cybersecurity solutions, especially those in the Sophos portfolio like Endpoint, Firewall, MDR, and security services. 3. Excellent editorial skills and superior writing and editing abilities. 4. Thorough knowledge of SEO, content distribution methods, and multi-channel marketing strategies. 5. Proficiency in fostering effective cross-functional partnerships and aligning with key business objectives. 6. Practical experience in utilizing AI for content creation. 7. Track record of building high-performing content teams capable of producing consistently impactful content. 8. Ability to cultivate strong working relationships across various teams in a remote work environment. 9. Adept at simplifying complex concepts into easily digestible content. 10. Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines. 11. Exceptional communication skills. Desirable: 1.
