Job Description
Lead Author Health's compliance initiatives as Director of Compliance. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and foster a culture of integrity across the organization. Key responsibilities include: * Managing all facets of the compliance program. * Guaranteeing fulfillment of regulatory obligations and upholding ethical principles. * Crafting, executing, and refining compliance strategies and protocols. * Spearheading inquiries into and reporting of HIPAA breaches. * Supervising payer audits and reporting of vendor exclusions. * Leading the Compliance Committee internally and working with diverse teams.
Qualifications
To excel as Director of Compliance, candidates should possess: 1. 5-7 years of experience in compliance roles. 2. Deep knowledge of CMS programs, HIPAA, state managed care, and healthcare fraud regulations. 3. Experience in scaling compliance functions within a rapidly growing healthcare startup. 4. Operational expertise in clinical, care management, and data exchange in value-based care settings. 5. Strong analytical skills for interpreting regulations, designing controls, and reviewing data for anomalies. 6. Expertise in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems.
