DevOps Engineer – Observability

Job Description

Seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and refine reliable, scalable, performant, and secure production platforms and services. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain resilient infrastructure, promote strong engineering standards, participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, and drive standardization and automation across the platform and service delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

1. 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or software engineering roles. 2. Strong Kubernetes experience, with a solid understanding of containers and container orchestration. 3. Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet. 4. Programming skills in at least one object-oriented language, along with scripting and automation capability. 5. Good understanding of security principles and best practices across infrastructure, platforms, and services. 6. Hands-on experience in one or more major cloud platforms, with exposure to AWS, GCP, or OCI. 7. Monitoring, alerting, and observability experience using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms. 8. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and distributed systems. 9. Strong Linux and/or Windows systems administration experience. 10. Experience with software delivery automation, CI/CD pipelines, and secure SDLC practices, including exposure to static and dynamic security testing. 11. Good understanding of SRE concepts such as SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, toil reduction, availability, and observability. 12. Experience managing and supporting Elasticsearch in production is beneficial.
