DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Insticator is seeking a DevOps Engineer to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures, working closely with the product and engineering teams. The role involves auditing existing infrastructure for performance enhancements, gathering and analyzing metrics from operating systems and applications, and participating in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning. You will create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts, balance feature development speed and reliability, and maintain high SLAs across all products. Additionally, staying updated with infrastructure trends and pushing technology forward will be a key aspect.

Qualifications

1. 3+ years of hands-on experience building distributed architecture between a Cloud Provider like AWS / GCP / Azure and Dedicated On-Premise Servers. 2. Experience automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, etc. 3. Strong experience in Kubernetes infrastructure and services like Kube DNS, Kubernetes Control Panel, Ingress Controller, ConfigMaps, etc. 4. Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. 5. Extensive hands-on experience working with AWS services like EKS / ECS / ECR, EC2, RDS, VPC, ElastiCache, ALB, CloudFront, ElasticSearch, etc. 6. Expertise setting up logging, monitoring and alerts using monitoring tools like Cloudwatch, Prometheus/Grafana, NewRelic, DataDog, etc. 7. Expertise in continuous integration and testing frameworks. 8. Experience re-architecting and migrating infrastructure to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and reducing infrastructure costs. 9. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. 10. Great communication, solid collaboration skills, with a strong teamwork ethic. 11. Strong understanding of security best practices to enhance cloud security.
