Job Description

As a Designer III at TEECOM, you'll be instrumental in shaping our modeling strategy and ensuring the quality of our documentation across projects. This entry-level position emphasizes discipline execution and coordination. You will apply TEECOM’s workflows, tools, and BIM standards with a high level of independence, playing a key technical role in project delivery. Expect to contribute through advanced modeling, drawing development, coordination leadership, documentation, and early engineering support within your discipline. You will work closely with engineering mentors and project leads, maintain model health, guide coordination workflows, and reinforce TEECOM’s BIM and documentation standards. Anticipate quick coordination cycles where you'll identify risks and maintain clarity across models and deliverables. Furthermore, you will refine workflows and improve modeling standards to support documentation system updates in GitHub.

Qualifications

1. Education: Hold a BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field; or demonstrate equivalent technical or field experience. 2. Experience: Possess 4+ years of experience in the AEC industry, with proficiency in Revit, coordinated modeling, and construction documentation across multiple projects, including coordination or field-related activities. 3. Preferred: Experience in delivering technology system designs (Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, Security, Acoustics, Network, Wi-Fi, and other technology disciplines) and supporting engineering tasks. 4. Experience leading BIM coordination efforts, including clash detection, model review, and cross-discipline resolution. 5. Ability to maintain model health at a senior production level. 6. Ability to manage coordinated models and produce drawings with minimal oversight. 7. Strong organizational and communication skills to manage workloads, lead coordination efforts, and support engineers and project leads. 8. Solid technical understanding of technology systems and engineering principles. 9. Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit; familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub.
