Designer
Job Description
Take ownership of the complete social content process, from initial planning and narrative development to storyboarding, design execution, and iterative refinement through approvals. Focus on Instagram, but also design for LinkedIn, TikTok, and X. Create carousels, static posts, story templates, and short-form video graphics on a consistent weekly basis. Develop visual systems and content series that provide repeatable frameworks and templates, reducing the need to start from scratch each time. Maintain consistent content delivery to meet targets, emphasizing consistency as much as quality. Remain updated on platform specifications and in-feed trends, integrating these into every asset. Monitor content performance and iterate based on results, building on successes and adjusting for underperformance. Manage individual workstreams, promptly addressing blockers and meeting deadlines. Design compelling case study visuals that showcase client results for sales and social proof. Produce assets for both internal and external presentations, including decks, pitch materials, and thought leadership visuals. Maintain the brand system in Figma, including templates, asset libraries, and scalable components. Support the evolution of the brand identity through event branding, merchandise, and co-marketing materials.
Qualifications
1. Possess 3–6 years of experience in brand, marketing, or visual design. 2. Showcase a portfolio emphasizing social media work, including carousel systems, content series, and platform-native creative examples. 3. Demonstrate a systems-oriented mindset with an understanding of design performance on social platforms, including thumb-stops, pacing, format constraints, and platform behavior. 4. Exhibit fluency in Figma, utilizing scalable components, organized files, and shared libraries. 5. Demonstrate strong instincts for typography and layout across various formats. 6. Operate primarily as a designer with specialization in social media, rather than a social media specialist who uses design tools. 7. Exhibit organizational skills, accountability, and clear communication of design rationale.
