Design and Marketing Specialist
Job Description
We're seeking a Design and Marketing Specialist to enhance our team. The role involves: * Designing high-quality, branded marketing and communications materials, including presentations, social media graphics, brochures, reports, email assets, infographics, and event materials. * Creating visually engaging content for internal and external audiences, aligned with brand standards. * Maintaining and evolving templates, brand resources, and design systems for visual consistency and efficiency. * Reviewing and editing materials for visual accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and overall quality. * Supporting the planning and execution of marketing and communications campaigns across multiple channels. * Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations. * Supporting event marketing initiatives with signage, collateral, promotional materials, and digital assets. * Supporting the team with digital marketing assets for email, web, and social platforms. * Collaborating with the internal team to understand communication goals and deliver effective creative solutions. * Building, maintaining, and optimizing automated marketing workflows for improved efficiency and consistency. * Maintaining clean, accurate, and well-structured CRM and marketing data to support reporting and automation. * Managing multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work within established timelines. * Coordinating with and managing external vendors for specialized or large-scale projects.
Qualifications
To excel in this Design and Marketing Specialist role, candidates should meet the following criteria: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 2. 2+ years of work experience in design, marketing, or creative communications. 3. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere). 4. Experience using tools such as Asana, Microsoft 365, WordPress, MailChimp. 5. Demonstrated experience, through a portfolio, of creating content for digital platforms. 6. Experience working in a not-for-profit organization. 7. Strong understanding of branding, layout, typography, and visual storytelling. 8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 9. Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
