Job Description

NEORIS is seeking a COBOL Mainframe Developer to analyze, modify, and test COBOL components, ensuring a smooth migration to Db2 on z/OS. You'll fine-tune COBOL code with SQL/Db2, design and document unit and integrated tests, and collaborate on resolving defects. Participate in cutover planning, prepare JCLs and deployment artifacts, and document technical changes while promoting quality and observability.

Qualifications

1. 3+ years of recent experience in COBOL development on mainframe (z/OS). 2. Practical experience with Db2 for z/OS (embedded SQL, precompilers, DCLGEN, transaction control). 3. Solid knowledge of JCL, TSO/ISPF, and use of PDS/PDSE libraries. 4. Experience in unit and integration testing in mainframe environments and incident management. 5. Advanced Spanish; intermediate English.
