Deputy Project Manager
Job Description
Neology is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to support project planning, execution, and delivery. Responsibilities include: - Supporting the Sr. Program Director in project planning, execution, and delivery - Managing day-to-day project activities and cross-functional teams - Assessing risks and preparing reports - Maintaining project documentation and logs - Tracking project progress against schedule, scope, and budget - Preparing status reports and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders - Identifying project risks and proposing mitigation strategies - Serving as a key point of contact for stakeholders and team members - Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards - Assisting with resource scheduling and vendor coordination - Leading the project in the PM’s absence.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, candidates should possess: 1. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 2. PMP certification is required 3. 3-5+ years of project coordination or management experience in the Government Tolling/Transportation Industry is required 4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 5. Working knowledge of project management methodologies 6. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence/Jira) and Microsoft Office Suite 7. Exceptional organizational, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities 8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively 9. Attention to detail and accuracy are necessary for this job 10. Ability to influence without authority and build strong working relationships.
