Dental Operations Manager

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Dental Operations Manager to lead and support dental operations for Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, and Medicare members. Ensure compliance with Department of Health Services (DHS) and Healthy Families MRMIB contracts. Monitor Health Net's performance under dental services contracts and oversee dental administration functions performed by a third-party administrator. Act as the primary contact for provider relations and inquiries, maintaining and expanding the provider network through effective contract negotiations. Ensure dental care meets high standards and perform utilization reviews via claims and encounter data. Develop and implement effective policies and procedures for the dental plan, actively participating in plan grievance procedures and assisting in grievance resolution related to care quality.

Qualifications

1. A college degree in Business is preferred. 2. Possess five to ten years of experience in managed care dental. 3. Prior experience in negotiating provider contracts is highly desirable.
