Deal Closing Administrator

Canada – Remote Full-Time$55k - $65k /year

Job Description

Manage and document incoming commission payments, including EFTs and wire transfers. Prepare and issue Back to Vendor (BV), Return of Deposit (RTD), garnishment, and commission cheques and EFTs. Process incoming trust direct deposits and wire transfers, issuing receipts to agents as needed. Follow up on closing confirmations to facilitate trade closures. Serve as the main point of contact for agents, co-op brokerages, and lawyers regarding payment status. Work closely with the Deal Administrator team to ensure prompt payments to agents and co-op brokerages. Verify final trade sheets for accuracy before filing. Assist with additional team needs to ensure smooth deal progression.

Qualifications

1. Experience in real estate trust accounting, brokerage administration, or a related finance/admin role. 2. Knowledge of commission payments, trust deposits, and cheque/EFT processing. 3. Strong attention to detail. 4. Ability to manage multiple deals at different stages. 5. Familiarity with RECO, REBBA, and Ontario brokerage trust requirements (preferred).
