Job Description
Join TD as a Data Scientist II and leverage your expertise in data analysis to drive strategic decision-making. This role involves collecting and analyzing data using a variety of data science techniques, including data wrangling, profiling, and visualization. Your primary focus will be to uncover actionable insights and build analytics solutions that guide decision-making and strategic planning. You will also be responsible for: - Resolving data inconsistencies and creating innovative solutions. - Conducting ongoing data mining to ensure artifacts provide value, including root cause variance analysis. - Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To excel in this Data Scientist II role, you should possess the following qualifications: 1. Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science). 2. A graduate degree is preferred with progressive project work experience, or 3+ years of relevant experience. Higher degree education and research tenure can be considered. 3. Proficiency as an SQL developer. 4. Strong skills in Python. 5. Advanced knowledge of Excel. 6. Must have authorization to work in the United States without current or future need for TD sponsorship.
